Can I use cell references in the TagniFi function?

Absolutely! In fact, that's exactly how we've built the  pre-made Excel models available for download.

Let's say you've copied the following function from the Function Builder into Excel:

=TAGNIFI("tagnifi.fundamentals.value","AAPL","Revenue","annual","2014",,,,)

This function will return Apple's annual revenue for fiscal 2014. You can change the hard-coded ticker "AAPL" to use another cell to drive this function. If you change the function to use the ticker from cell A1 then it will return the same data for any company you select in cell A1. Here is the new function:

=TAGNIFI("tagnifi.fundamentals.value",$A$1,"Revenue","annual","2014",,,,)
